Main Responsibilities of Cockatiel Foundation Regional Coordinators:
(Materials to help with the following will be supplied):
1. Each Regional Coordinator will report to the Vice President but will work closely with the Youth
Education and Adoption Coordinator as needed.
2. Each Regional Coordinator (RC) will be responsible for each of the states in their respective
regions. It is the RC's task to seek out and develop relationships with both potential show clubs
and other avian organizations within their area. This may be in the form of visits and/or
participation in local events, through e-mail, or by phone.
3. Each RC will work with the Vice President to enlist State Coordinators for each state within their
region. State Coordinators must be approved by the Vice President with input from the Regional
Coordinator, with final approval from the Board of Directors.
4. All RC's will file quarterly reports with the Vice President outlining their activities and compiling
reports received from their State Coordinators detailing the activities of the previous quarter
providing potential future affiliates, potential show clubs, number of new members and any other
information on activities performed to promote CF. Reports should be short summaries with an
overview of growth and achievements from the previous quarter, any goals and future plans, and
suggestions for improvement.
5. Goals for both the Regional and State Coordinators will be to obtain new members, attend local
fairs, shows, and other avian events representing the Foundation in a professional manner and
contributing to the growth of CF.
